Celebration of Achievement evening recognises outstanding students

Ron Dearing UTC has recognised the outstanding academic and personal achievements of its students over the past year.

The school welcomed students, their families, Employer Partners and Governors to its glittering Celebration of Achievement Evening which honoured Year 10 and 12 students who are excelling both in and out of the classroom.

The evening saw the presentation of a range of awards including accolades for achievement and productivity in core and specialist subjects, as well as dedicated awards sponsored by the Founding Partners, recognising those who have gone the extra mile and demonstrated excellence in professional skills and qualifications.

Head of School, Steve Willacy said: “Our Celebration of Achievement Evening is one of the highlights of the school year, and gives us an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work, dedication and commitment of our young people.

“It’s also an opportunity to thank the parents and carers of our young people as well as our amazing staff, who all contribute to supporting our students and helping them reach their full potential.

“A huge well done to all of the students who received awards. You should be incredibly proud, keep up the good work!”
