Jupiter IT: Managing and supporting systems project
Jupiter IT deliver their cyber-security-focused managed IT services to businesses. Established by three NHS IT consultants, the company was built on the strong belief that local businesses deserved a better caliber of IT support and consultancy from an organisation that has their best interests at heart.
Jupiter IT have set a project for students to work with them to design, manage and implement the support infrastructure for the RDUTC networked IT system.
Knowledge and Skills Gained
In this project students will work with the Jupiter IT team to design the management and support infrastructure to meet the UTC’s requirements for its networked IT system.
Students will become a member of the IT Help Desk team to carry out management and support activities on the system, working alongside members of the Jupiter team to resolve both hardware and software issues that arise
