A large proportion of manufacturing in Hull has converted to Automated systems for companies such as Kohler Mira, Smith and Nephew and Reckitt. These companies have set a project to analyse and evaluate their automated systems and produce a report summarising the findings.
Knowledge and Skills
In this project students will study different manufacturing methods that have been made autonomous through the companies we work with. Students will gain an understanding of the different methods needed to implement automated systems in a manufacturing environment as well as how to design and program these systems to carry out tasks.
